The Blind Side of Love

About

Bits and pieces of the creative process behind The Blind Side of Love. I guess you could call this a kind of scrapbook. But it also answers to the name Gaylord.

State of the Book Thing

Hehe. I’ll add chapter 25 to the shared Beta file tonight. I need to poke it around a little more.

Today I start on chapter 26, which should be —fun? In a weird way? Maybe? I’m having a lot of fun writing this book, and that’s such a great feeling. Writing v2 felt not unlike carrying a passed-out dragon up a hill — barefoot. No wonder it took so long.

TBSOL FV is sitting at about 54,000 words. Past chapter 25, I think the book will read very differently from past versions, in a Weeeeee! sort of way. It’ll feel like free-falling into a puke bucket of fluffy lesbian love.

That sounds gross. I won’t put that on the back cover.

Anyhoo — beta notes:

New 3/4:

  • Fixed a few sentences here and there
  • Added chapters 23 and 24
  • Assorted thingies no one else will notice

Still to come

  • Adding chapters 25 tonight
